127 Yard Sale Teaser

Today we're headed up the road to the beautiful Sequatchie Valley and Crossville area of the Cumberland Plateau for the last day of the Highway 127 Corridor Sale. They used to call this "the world's longest yard sale", although it has been overtaken by dealers the past few years, so the bargains are few and far between. It is still fun to look, so we make a day trip of it every year, eating some good food and often taking a break to hike at our favorite state park. An item from last year's sale:
How funny are those awful dolphin tables? Hopefully I'll bring back something cool today, or at least some good pics!

Hey Sweetie, glad to be able to check in and say hi. Thank you for the sweet comment you left. I've missed you. Hope you have recovered from all the festivities.:)

I've had a lot going on with the funeral and family being around, went to Kentucky for a couple of days. I have to leave town again this week for a couple of days, but come the weekend things should be getting back to normal.

The dolphin tables could be fun - in the right setting.:) I just bought a vintage plastic dolphin yesterday, it's "tacky" cute.

I'll be stopping back in when I get the chance. And like I said, the weekend things should be returning to a more normal routine.

Have a great week!!!

xoxo

Those are pretty awful! I love yard sales, though! I'm always praying to end up with some antiques roadshow-style hidden treasure, but usually it's just junk. Sounds like fun!

I would so love to go to a long yard sale like that...even with dealers. It kind of gets the creative juices flowing! FUnky tables!

Ok those tables are so bad that they're cool! :D They would sell like hot cakes here in Fla {the snow-birds would love them}.

You have good taste in music ;).
