Patios & Outdoor Rooms

I'd love to be here...
Amazing rental (above): The Black Pearl. Meditation space (below) via Sunset.
Outdoor living room (I envy this outdoor fireplace!) via This Old House.
Cottage style via The Assistant.
Chic urban garden via Door Sixteen.
Secret garden conversation area via Sunset.
Swanky outdoor lounge via Rearranged Design.
Charming Courtyard via Travel Blog.
Cozy Tropical Spot, perfect for fruity drinks with friends via Rearranged Design.
I love everything about this outdoor room (and the modern house adjoining it). Source forgotten - sorry!
Rustic Sliding doors via Southern Living.
Can a modern space be described as both tranquil and fun? Source forgotten - sorry!
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was super-busy (lots of hanging out with Mr. Cheese's family), and I got a major haircut that's short and has a gazillion layers and I can fix it a million ways and I absolutely love it.

Yowza, these are all magnificent. Can't decide which I like best but I do love that wild sprawling tree in the middle of the patio.

I watched part of a HGTV show this weekend where they were designing a rooftop bedroom because the people like to see the stars when they sleep.

My practical side couldn't help but wonder if the first rain shower wouldn't ruin the bed?

I'd be happy to hang out in any one of these. Those old sliding doors are amazing! A haircut is on the agenda for me this week too. Isn't it always the best feeling? :)

All of these outdoors spaces are fabulous! I could be happy relaxing in any of them.

Yesterday I spent the day with my cousins & aunt at a lovely lake in Maine. Just to sit on the screened-in porch overlooking the water was heaven. Mother Nature knows what she is doing!

These pictures are so lovely! My dream is to have an amazing outdoor space someday. But it has to be covered (or at least partially) since I live in Seattle...

Oh boy CottageCheese Cutie!
Your last comment was too real. I so want to break free from the rat race but it's beyond the worst time to do so right now. I'm cheering for you and your driven entrepreneurial spirit. It's nasty out there.
If you'd like I can easily help you with your resume. (it's basically what I do for a living... I can snazzy it up if you ever feel the need to stick your neck in the 9-5 hellhole).

Outdoor living spaces to me are the frosting on the cupcake. The photo with the orange vintage chairs & the outdoor space with the built in seating & fireplace are awe inspiring; really, they all are. Ahhhh.... lovely CC!
