Florida Modern (Revisited) & Between Two Ferns

For your mid-century pleasure, here are a few more images from Central Florida Modern. If you missed my first post, click here for more modern eye candy.

No, I'm not a woman obsessed, but since so many of you are fans of Zack G and Bradley Cooper, you really should see the newest episode of "Between Two Ferns", Zack's really odd and dry-humored 'talk show' on Funny or Die. There is even a Carrot Top cameo. Warning, there is some foul language, so be careful where you watch it.

P.S. I just finished watching Man on Wire. The imagery of the Twin Towers is heart wrenching, but I highly recommend this documentary. Amazing!

bahaha...drollgirl's comment.

I seen man on a wire and it was really good, my favorite part being when he was quite younger doing it, that footage was amazing.

I loove that last photo of the modern florida homes..the b&W really brings out the amazing architecture of the house!! those treee....gaahh..never seen anything like them in real life.

so about this wedding stuff...hehe. I like confiding in someone that is also doing this really soon..hehe..cause its a little eeeeek. I really wanted to hire a professional photographer cause I kinda wanted some creative romantic shots and not just crappy digital candids...I too want to get some polaroids. But honestly professional photographers are sooo expensive..i hear its worth it but i dunno..I just like how photographers can make you look better in photos and candids can bring out a double chin etc...lol, imagine all your wedding photos is double chin mania...migod, i would lose it.

Are you having music? my cousin is a dj and i might get him to play "Surf Epic" by Frank Black..its an intrumental..and "Here There and Everywhere" instrumentally performed at some point. I'm a little stressed about not all that part. Do you have any good songs that you are using. I noticed your tasted in tunes just now...I looove Spoon, so good.

Honeymoon, I forget if you said you were going on one or not..we're still trying to decide..going to pick a last minute deal so its really cheap.

It is going to be so weird being "wife"..instead of girlfriend, i still barely could say fiance..it just seemed strange and foreign to say. Anyways, I'm sure itll go great..haha, the major thing is the actual union of us...in the end, thats all that really matters.

Sooo Sorry for this book of a comment...i'll blame it on the coffee.

p.s.- you don't have to post it..it might scare people away..lol

Hey clorivak, you crack me up! And thanks for saying such nice stuff about my Etsy shop! I'll write you back this eve regarding wedding stuff, as I'm late getting to the job site this morning. I feel the same way, it's fun to have someone to talk to about the planning. Even for a small wedding it's overwhelming!

Isn't man on wire so beautiful? I had mixed emotions about him in the end, but thought the documentary was wonderful. brilliant.

That last house is amazing. I definitely can see myself lounging around there in a silk robe with martini in hand...:sigh:: some day!

Gorgeous house photos!

Didn't know much about either of these movies, and now I want to see them both. Anyone want to babysit?

Gorgeous photos! I would take any one of those lovely homes in a second. And ps, Carrot Top is kinda the scariest, most hilarious thing alive. I'm pretty sure he's alive - not a robot, well, he could be.....

I LOVE those home photos. In my recent past I was a shabby chic girl, but the past few years I am so in beguiled with contemporary lines. I think the Feng Shui influence has grabbed me by the soul.

What I love the most about these houses are the glass walls and the locations. They always seem to be built inside a forrest. It must be wonderful to wake up in a house like that.

I also watched Man on Wire recently and loved it. Truly memorable experience.

P.S. Still no idea when I'll be heading for NOLA. The construction on the house is dragging, lagging... The house is full of dust as they are replacing and adding walls. I'm not sure the AK is working properly. It will be a bit longer before I'm of to paint there, but I can hardly wait. I think I could use a change of scenery!

xoxo
