Boats at Cumberland Mountain State Park

After a hot & sunny afternoon of junkin' at the 127 corridor sale, we headed to my home-away-from-home, Cumberland Mountain State Park, for a short hike and dinner at the restaurant (yummy southern food!). A few pictures of the boats at the park's small lake:

I hope you all had some fun this weekend :) . I am so sore and absolutely exhausted from playing all weekend: too many beers with Jenn on Friday, Saturday day trip to Watts Bar lake swimming and riding the Sea Doo, playing Grand Slam tennis on the Wii (which I'm now addicted to and badly want a Wii), and a long Sunday searching for treasures at the yard sale. Oh, and I ate far too much good food this weekend, so I really should eat nothing but brown rice and veggies for the rest of the week. Pics of the 127 sale coming tomorrow!

I feel like this is the craziest post ever! My grandparents lived near Crossville (Fairfied Glade) for nearly the last 30 years! When we were little and would go visit them, we would always take one night and go out to the State Park for dinner!!

That area of Tennessee in the mountains is just lovely -- as I'm sure you know, not terribly "happening," but still, one of my favorite places.

I can't ell you how much I love these photos. You weekend sounded like my ideal weekend. A friend of mine & I talked about the 127 Corridor Sale & the possibility of pulling it off next year. Water, sales, boats, tree's & beers = heaven on earth! I need to visit Tennessee for sure. Thanks for the fun :D

Sounds like a perfect weekend. I would love to go to one of those multi-sale events that take place along certain roads throughout the U.S. I look forward to seeing what good junk you found.
