Greetings from Texas!

via flickr
Sorry for going MIA with little explanation. I'm in Texas for a week visiting my family, and I didn't have time to prepare any posts in advance. It has been an activity packed trip so far, including visits to 3 incredible museums, a Dallas Symphony concert, and a visit to a 63,000 square foot antique mall (apparently, everything really is bigger in Texas). Now where can I find one of these Texas-shaped waffles?

Sounds like you are enjoying your trip! I'd love to visit that humungus (sp?) antique mall! Did you find anything you couldn't live without?

Ok...I need pics of the antique mall! How many days did it take to go through? I'd be sleeping on one of the antique divans just to get a jump on things!

Have a great trip. I've never been to Texas, but will consider it just for that waffle. Great pic.

You are so close yet so far away Marsi. Thank you, thank you for taking the time out of vaca for leaving a comment on my blog. You must post pics of your living room once you are all done. Have a great time visiting your family. I know you'd agree that the weather is perfect right now. I have not been to FW nor Dallas yet which is incredibly lame due to my eldest son is currently in FW working for a co. that sent him there out of Portland, OR. If I go will I get one of those dandy waffles? Thanks too for asking about mom. You are SO KIND. She is not expected to live thru Christmas. Sad times. Well..go have fun. Ride a bull for me! xx
