Wow! I would love to have a big house with two floors and have a super colourful stair case like the one in the photo!!! Dreaming is for free, isn't it? ;O)Lovely post, very inspiring
wow, those are gorgeous!! I love the rainbow stairs, the first chunky wood and the little mice, *sigh* I now hate my stairs. :)
I love all of these stairs, especially the ones with a sense of humor! You are clever to have found all these neat pictures.
I also am IN LOVE with interesting staircases!! Love the first couple ones especially. ooo..that second one is just so elegant...stunning. Its kinda art deco style.lovely!! Can't wait to have my own house sometimes...geez.
These are all so great! Thanks for the inspiration!
I love stairs! That first set it so cool. Our house is almost 100 years old so we have a set of stairs going into our kitchen where the servants or cooks would come in. We have 5 entries into our small kitchen!
oooh, pink stairs?! yes please!
these are so pretty, but let me tell you, those spiral staircases are dangerous!! danger danger!
Is that first staircase made entirely of old drawers? Love.
If i had stairs like the suitcases, i would take the stairs and not the elevator in my building :)

Love the mice on the stairs!!!Scary, but cute!!xo Laura
You and me both lady. I'm especially enamored with that last staircase. Stunning!
Great post CC. I have always loved stairs. Guess due to not growing up with them. Only the 'cool' kids had homes with staircases. Our home here in Houston does not have that spectacular staircase as so many do. I'm going to hold out for one such as photo #2 - WoW!! Happy Nov. to you ~
Oh wow those staircases are beautiful!!! I love the one with the mice! That's really neat! I also like the dramatic swirly staircase, I can image myself with a dress like that too:)I'm very glad I've been introduced to your blog, I love your taste:)Olivia
Oh yes! I would happily take all of them thank you very much!!
GAH!!! that first set is killing me! fan-farking-tastic!
ahhhh i love those little ratties!
wow that bottom one is so nice. I want to live there :)
My parents home is a old English cottage from the 1300 so they have a really cool stairwell, big thick stone slabs, worn away by 700 years worth of people trundling up and down. Awesome!
