Caramel Pumpkin Spice

Hello my friends! Although temperatures here are still in the 90's, our trees are already beginning to show their fall color - a month early for our area. Mother nature seems to be so confused this year. Inspired by the early appearance - visually anyway - of autumn, I curated a "Caramel Pumpkin Spice" treasury. (Go here to see it bigger and shop for something yummy).
Come on cool weather - I'm ready for sweaters, boots, hot chocolate, spiced apple cider, and pumpkin everything! It just seems wrong to be wearing shorts while surrounded by towering trees of yellow, orange, and red.

P.S. Thank you all for your kind, supportive, encouraging comments. I've been contemplating giving up on the blog or taking a long hiatus, because I haven't had the time to be a good member of the blogging community. However, I treasure the friendships I've made through the blogworld, and all of the beauty you guys have brought into my life. So I'm not ready to give up yet! (I just may be a little irregular with my posts).

I had a pumpkin square (with cream cheese frosting!!!) at the Farmer's Market today and it was like heaven. The only better would be some cool weather to usher in the return of boot season!

PS, take time but don't go away for good. Any little bit you have time for will be enjoyed by many.

I absolutely love your tresurey theme and all the items you found! So fantastically Fall!!!
And girl take the hiatus but don't give it up, this blog is too fabulous not to be around anymore!!
I will say that one thing I have learned is take the time when you need it, and when you are taking that time, don't stress about what you arn't doing, that's what got you there to begin with! Just remember to breathe...it's the only thing you really HAVE to do:)

oh, i hope you don't leave. it is hard to keep up with life, loves, relationships, jobs, AND blogging. sometimes it is all so draining, when at least SOME of it should be fun! hang in there! maybe just blog if/when the mood strikes.

and your fall items in this post are lovely! i think i have to check out that rad leather vintage bag!

I'm so ready & willing to welcome fall. All your choices just confirmed it, & that & the thought of Pumpkin Spice at Starbucks!

Your friendship means a lot & I'm so thankful for people like you Marsi.

Your kind spirit rings true through all of your posts. I'm sure everyone will understand if your posts are sporadic. We'll still be here and thinking of you!

Your fall treasury is beautiful, but I'm not sure I'm ready for it. I'm still hoping for an Indian Summer. It can't be tights season already!

It's good to have a break - I think everyone needs a bit of time to reflect. I'm sorry to hear you have had some emmotional times of late though... Anyway, blogging shouldn't be a chore! We do miss you however!

Love this treasury - we're moving into Spring, Summer, mild weather and no more crowding around the electric heater! I like the chill but not too much of it - it has been a very cold winter here and I am a little relieved to see the end of it. Having said that, I hope it doesn't get tooo hot! I'm very fussy! :0)

Hope you're well and it's great to hear your estate sales are going well - thank you for all your lovely comments on my blog - especially love the glow worm/ firefly story - yes, that is very special indeed!

Just wanted to let you know... I left a little prayer for you on my blog today. Hope all of the love and support in the world comes your way :)

marsi- although i truly hope that you do not give up your blog entirely, i can completely sympathize with how you're feeling. i think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to stay constantly involved when it's hard enough to simply post (much less comment). i'm thinking about you...

Marsi, I really hope you don't give up on blogging. I wouldn't stress about how often you blog. I just do it when the mood strikes, and I find it is fun for me that way -- not like work. You take care of yourself, and I'll be hoping for good things to come your way very soon! hugs, Beth

North Carolina has cooled off, but I am not ready for the leaves to turn. I want my pumpkin pie and eat it too! I want cool weather and green leaves for a few more months. I love pumpkin soup, though.
Best,
Liz
