Hooray, I'm so excited about my first blog giveaway! One lucky winner (randomly chosen) will win this groovy "Pod Pouch" from Jenn Ski's fabulous Etsy shop. The zippered pouch measures 10"x7"x3", and has a thousand uses. Not just cool because of the great mid-century inspired design, but the pouch is also eco-friendly! It is made from recycled yarn and recycled soda bottles. I'm sure that some of you already follow Jenn Ski's blog, but if you've never visited before, you're in for a treat! Jenn even lets us take a peek into her incredible mid-century modern home. I'm happy to ship this little pouch internationally, so wherever you are, please join in the fun! The winner will be randomly chosen this weekend. The giveaway rules:
1. You must visit Jenn Ski's shop and tell me your favorite item in a comment below.
2. You must follow my blog, just to be fair to all of my loyal readers who are so sweet to think that my modest little blog is worthy of their valuable time. (Don't worry, new followers are eligible too!)
Over the past week or so, I've had several awards passed along to me, or have been tagged by these four fantastic bloggers, go check them out!:
The Lost and Found
Welcome To My World
Sara Says Awesome
I will pass these awards along and play tag later this week, but I didn't want to wait any longer to thank you lovely ladies. You guys rock!
And for a special treat: Check out Bret and Jemaine on Sexy People (we all watch Flight of the Conchords, right?)
P.S. Ernie left the nest! I was leaving the house Monday morning, and as I was locking the front door I noticed that Ernie was perched on the side of the flower pot where the nest was. I must have startled him because he jumped down off the pot, then hopped/ran the long way around the side of the house. He wasn't quite ready to fly yet, but he managed to hide well enough that I couldn't capture a picture of him. He was the cutest baby bird I've ever seen! He was half the size of Bert when Bert left the nest, and just this beautiful little round ball of feathers. Go Ernie!
