Sunny Interiors (to brighten my rainy day)

The weather in my region is cool, gray, and rainy today, which I don't really mind (the garden is quite thirsty). However, it's still nice to look at some sunny interiors to brighten the day, don't you think? There is really no cohesive theme here, just picked some of my favorites I've had filed away.

I'm loving the dedicated cookbook shelves in that kitchen, which otherwise has a little too much going on for my taste. (Just added cookbook shelves to my "ideal kitchen" list).

P.S. I'm so sorry I missed wishing all the Moms a happy Mother's Day! I hope you all had a lovely day. I spent the day with my husband's family (including his sweet mom and grandmother). My own Mom really wanted electric hedge trimmers for Mother's Day, but poor Mum badly cut her finger on them and had to be stitched up. Thankfully she was wearing heavy gloves, or that finger would have been gone :-O

...all that, and somehow I am still obsessed with the turquoise door floating in a wall of windows.

I would like to incorporate each and every one of those rooms into a house for me to live in. That would be ideal, ha ha! Love the pics.

oooo so pretty! I love the pic of the kitchen with bookshelves overhead! We are in the process of getting our kitchen redone at our lakehouse and I'm thinking over the stove where there will be a little cabinet, I'm going to use it as a bookshelf for recipe books! thanks for the idea!

Love all those rooms. I wish I could put a room together like that. I always go for the darker, earthy colors and I want turquoise now and white. So pretty. Thanks for the day brightener!

So lovely! The combination of the white panels of wood with those huge windows and the pretty bits of colour here and there - really something!

I want that first room! Wouldn't it be amazing to get to work in that little office everyday?! I may have to try a DIY version of that chandelier/hanging antlers thing - I can't stop staring at it!
